Fun with Four Different Mathematical Systems
What a great way to manipulate numbers from four different civilizations and learn about their culture! Students will develop critical thinking skills as they decode our Arabic numbers to learn famous quotes, spell English words using Roman numerals, work with unfamiliar Arabic numbers and practice reading from right to left. Mayan numbers will be the most challenging and interesting. Appropriate for Grades 4-12, higher education, and homeschoolers.

This is a 58-page mini-textbook that covers some basic elements of classical cryptography, including Caesar, vigenere, affine, and keyword ciphers, among others.
