Present Tense Verb Conjugation Quiz

This quiz is a short assessment of present-tense verb conjugations in German. It includes subject pronouns, regular verbs, vowel-stem changing verbs, separable prefix verbs, and haben and sein. There are three levels of mastery on the quiz. The quiz is designed to be printed front-to-back, and cut into half sheets to save paper. I use this short quiz at the beginning of German II to quickly see which students remember which present tense conjugations.

Read each row faster to increase the challenge. This is also an excellent bell ringer activity to review numbers for higher levels as most books never practice numbers again after first year.
