When I was teaching Kindergarten, giant dice were a great way to teach number sense and develop mental math. Me (to a student): "How did you know that was five?" Student (to me): "A group of four with an extra in the middle." This is part of an expanded series that extends to 10, with the added challenge of three randomly positioned dot sets in addition to a traditional dice format.
