12 years ago I created the Special Blend Coffee Shop. Special Blend is a student led business that services students with special needs. The program is an established as a student club on a high school campus with a student activities account in the school’s bookstore. I have used this business with students with severe multiple disabilities to moderate to mild disabilities. It is adaptable to every level of student in your class. This is an excellent way to raise funds for your classroom.

iPromise: Civic Responsibility Pledge Form
This is a pledge form to help students learn more about being responsible within their community. Each student chooses a responsibility that is important to him/her and completes a pledge form promising to perform that service. It can be as simple as "I promise to pick up trash when I see it," to "I promise to do my homework on the issues and vote in every election."
Great to hang up. I used this in my 7th grade US History class during our lesson on Citizenship and the Constitution.
