These are addition flash cards that you can use to quiz students. In addition, you can laminate them and have students answer using a dry erase marker. Finally, you can utilize velcro and place them as work tasks for students on Autism spectrum or other students with special needs.
Make your accountable talk more purposeful. I usually laminate this and use it in groups to ensure that accountable talk is increasing student learning. Students will learn after just a few uses.... how to asks questions, check their own understanding, and have a respectful but challenging debate with a group member.
This student test tracking graph is a great way to increase student accountability on unit tests. Simply have students write the test name at the bottom and shade/color the bar to show their score. If a student retakes a test, they can use another color to shade/color the improved score over top of the original score.
