Formative Assessment - Shape

Created by
Michael Portaro
Using a number of resources I created a developmental sequence relating to the learning of shape in the primary years of schooling. There are more than fifteen outcomes in this sequence, starting at sorting objects of mixed sizes according to shape through to constructing simple prisms and pyramids. A question has been matched to each phase of the sequence allowing teachers to diagnose the starting point for their students learning. This assessment can also be used for summative purposes.
