This resource is a binary number review worksheet that uses the Ascii (American Standard Code for Information Interchange) code. Instead of 1’s and 0’s the worksheet uses coconuts, whole and half to represent the binary numbers. The story for the worksheet is that a man is shipwrecked on a desert island and uses coconuts to write a message for any passing planes. Students need to decode his message.
