Here is a Math Skills Worksheet that provides practice in writing numbers in expanded form or expanded notation. Doing the problems will show students the place value of each digit. On the worksheet, students are provided the standard forms of 2 and 3 digit numerals and directed to fill in the parenthesis and spaces to reach expanded notation. There are 12 problems in all, which would work perfectly for a quick quiz assessment. The worksheet can also provide needed practice for 3rd and 4th grade
