Prezi for Making Arrays to Solve Division Problems
Students have learned to use arrays to assist them in solving multiplication. Students are also learning that division and multiplication are inverse properties so they can create arrays to solve division problems as well. My third grade class did this activity and loved it. I created this as a mini lesson that corresponds with the third grade Go Math Curricula. I found some great videos to preview the concepts that are taught during the prezi and that go over the meaning of AM and PM. The eliments of time that are covered during the prezi are hour, minute, before, after, AM and PM. It is a great way to begin your math unit on time.

Prezi presentation on Equal Whole Parts of a Fraction
This prezi focused on allowing students to discover the term of equal parts with a fun twist. Students are asked to use smart board tools to cut pizza into different sized pieces. Students are also asked to identify parts of a whole as equal pieces or unequal and to justify their response.
