There are a total of 13 chapters in this book. I choose to split the read aloud into 2 weeks. Chapters 1-6 were read in week 1. Chapters 7-13 were read in week 2. At the end of each week students were given a vocabulary quiz on the chapters that were read and discussed. We practiced the vocabulary words throughout the week. This document is the vocabulary quiz for week 1. The vocabulary quiz for week 2 will be uploaded as well. Enjoy!
