This is an investigation into fingerprint types and occurrences. It is a science and math lesson that involves the students classifying their own fingerprints and finding out the most common type of fingerprint. It takes anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on the amount of background knowledge the students have. The students also have the opportunity to work with a buddy and as a class.
