This presentation goes along with the book "So Much Snow!" by Kristen Schroeder and Sarah Jacoby. Throughout the book, there is a snow storm that lasts 1 week, and then throughout the following week, the snow melts and goes away. I use this book to talk about dynamics and crescendo/decresendo for the first few times with my younger grades. We start with body percussion/movement to show the increase/decrease in snow, then we move to Orff instruments to learn how to imformally roll on them and get

This is level one of rhythm reading on Google Slides. Level One is great for all beginners no matter what age. I have personally taught with this from age 4 to high school.
