Creative and Critical Thinking in 30 minutes, is a dynamic activity that can be used as a formative assessment, indoor recess, stress buster, teambuilding, and for building critical and creative thinking skills. Students from grade 3 through grade 5 will utilize brainstorming skills such as: deferring judgment, piggybacking, forced relationships, brain drawing, categories and SCAMPER to identify problems and solutions.

This is a set of three coordinate grids containing the coordinate pairs of three symbols from The Hunger Games: Bow/Arrow, Fire, and Mockingjay. These are all original pieces of art I drew then listed the appropriate coordinates. They increase in difficulty with each picture but all give good practice in finding and plotting coordinates on a grid - one of the Common Core math standards for Grade 5.
