As an enthusiastic lifelong learner, I am eager to continue growing in my professional and personal lives. I am dedicated to education and utilize many opportunities to share my personal experiences with others while continuing to learn myself. An ideal classroom is active, engaging, student-centered, differentiated, and includes social learning. The process of learning, not necessarily the product, is focused on and accomplishments are noted at many levels of student understanding. Many formative assessments take place during activities prior to a variety of summative assessments which will measure our progress in achieving standards. Enthusiasm is contagious and is commonplace in our classroom. My choice, my career, is 2teach4fun.

My husband, who is also an educator, and I have worked in both public and private schools from K-12 domestically and internationally. We've had quite the educational experiences and currently find ourselves halfway around the world opening new schools. We are from Louisville, Kentucky but right now we live and work in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates. Teaching ESL students in an academically successful private school is extremely rewarding!
