About the store
In my 17+ years of certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), I've worked in FOUR various roles at 11 (!) different locations/settings across TWO different states and THREE Hawaiian Islands! I've always loved making my own graphics, handouts, visuals, materials, and forms since back in the day of MS Paint (mid-80's), PaintShop and Word for Windows 6.0 on my very first laptop of my own (early 90's), and Photoshop 5.5 (late 90's).

Solving Ratios: Step-by-Step

I made this step-by-step grid to help my 6th grade daughter (who absolutely despises math) solve ratios. After a few examples, she was able to use this grid to help her complete three (!) worksheets all on her own! Disclaimer: I am NOT a math teacher. And... I learned math the "old school" way. So please let me know if any of my wording or explanations are incorrect!

66 Days to a Habit Chart

Based on research by Lally et al (2008) on how habits are formed, I made this randomized number chart to mark off 66 days of a behavior in order to make it a habit. In all honesty, I made this to teach and reward my children to be kind, responsible, and respectful in order to (try) and get rid of our Disney Circle. :)

Experience

In my 17+ years of certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), I've worked in FOUR various roles at 11 (!) different locations/settings across TWO different states and THREE Hawaiian Islands! I've always loved making my own graphics, handouts, visuals, materials, and forms since back in the day of MS Paint (mid-80's), PaintShop and Word for Windows 6.0 on my very first laptop of my own (early 90's), and Photoshop 5.5 (late 90's).

Teaching style

Efficient, simplistic, and creative. My design style: OCD with fonts, spacing, visual balance, colors, and spelling.

My own education history

Master of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology with an emphasis in Speech Pathology (and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Speech Communication)
