My Writing Journal 1st grade - 3rd grade
Students learn so much from keeping a monthly journal. You may provide the students with topics or you can allow them to choose one on their own. This writing journal can be used by students in 1st grade through 3rd grade. Each page in the journal consists of a different month. You can have your students write a rough draft and then write the finished copy in their journal. The students will use brainstorming, creating a rough draft, learn to edit their rough draft, publish their final copy in

Additional biographical information
I love living life and I live it to the fullest each day. I was married for 19 years when I lost my husband in a tragic motorcycle accident. I thought life was over....but I have three wonderful children and I knew I had to stay strong for them. At that time I lived life to the best of my abality, kind of just going through the motions I suppose. Many years later something unexpected happened in my life....I met a wonderful man. Something I didn't think would ever happen again. We dated for over two years and recently married. I now live in a new town with my husband and my youngest son. I have taken a year of leave from the school system so I can focus on my new life. I am now living life again and enjoying every minute of it.
