This includes a packet for students to complete and a set of fact sheets. It includes an individual fact sheet for each of the 50 states that includes: state nickname, region, postal abbreviation, state motto, state bird, state flower, date of statehood, interesting facts and landmarks. Eight different nature scavenger hunts in a checklist format. All of the animals, plants, flowers, insects, birds, reptiles/amphibians, and other things can be found in New England. I use this with my sub-separate special education class on a nature hike in Massachusetts. All items have a picture to go with the words to help with identification, and those that need reading support.
