These leaves each have a different prefix or suffix that PA 5th graders are required to know in order to master the PSSA's. Prefixes include Pre-, Inter-, Super-, Extra-, Post-, Sub-, Re-, Mis-, Non-, and Dis-. Suffixes include -ment, -en, -tion, -ness, -ly, -ble, -or/-er, -less, and -ship.
