Created originally for OLC class (literacy course). Assignment is displayed as an infographic so the students can see an example. Rubric also included (word format).

Careers course research assignment broken down (word doc), rubric (word doc) and a student example. Students are to research a career of their choice and create a visually appealing infographic to put up around the classroom/school to inform other students of different career options (schooling, salary, lifestyle, hours etc.) that are out there for them.

"Listening to Music" allows students to listen to different types of songs and really analyze what they are listening to. The questions and prompts on the 2 documents provided encourages students to think about music differently than how they normally would. Attached are 2 different 'Listening to Music' and 'Analyzing Music' sets of prompts and documents that will work for grades 5-8.

Great for dance classes grades 9-12. Assignment attached (word doc) **Encourage students at home to find a place in their house, yard, park etc. that is different from where they usually take class for this assignment and when they videotape their work/creation.

Printable PDF for students to follow on their own time every day of the week. Set up challenges within the class, have students take or post videos of them in the middle of the workout etc. to encourage more active participation. Remind students of the importance of stretching and warming up before they start. All workouts are more effective when done all together rather than one exercise here and there.
