This smart board uses a passage from interactive acheivement testing program. It is fiction and on a third grade reading level. Some comprehension questions are multiple choice but most slides I made for TEI practice- including sequence (drag and drop), draw conclusions (drag and drop), cause and effect, author's purpose, main idea, and general comprehension based on the third grade VA SOLS. This is a 44 slide smart board that review ALL third grade math concepts taught using the Virginia SOLS. It is similar to my other math review smart board but has better graphics, more TEI and is a bit more rigorous. It reviews each skill, sometimes multiple times per slide in order to encourage mastery prior to taking the third grade SOL. Smart board is required to use this in an interactive format.

This is a word document (can be manipulated) that has 16 of the Trophies reading basal story tests/activities. I make a test for each story because I feel that the provided assessment is too easy and not rigorous enough to prepare for state SOL testing in reading. This smart board was made to practice questions that can be answered without reading a passage. The kids can press the speaker icon and listen to vowel sounds and find the words with the same vowel sounds, put words in ABC order, brainstorm verbs, practice TEI items with synonyms, antonyms and vocabulary and homophones.
