Beginning String Orchestra Resources

I use this Rubric to grade French Folk Song from the Essential Elements books. It could easily be adapted to any playing quiz in the beginning strings/orchestra classroom, and clearly states the criteria for earning each point, as well as a bow hold check list. I circle the description of what the student has done in each category, check off what I see in the student's bow hold, then add up final score at the bottom.
