This grid provides structure and guidance for students who struggle to complete two digit addition with carry over. What I have experienced in my teaching is that many students will often get lost in the procedures of mathematical equations. Therefore, this grid offers a teaching strategy to help students organize their thought processes as they progress through these equations.
