About the store
Over the years, I have taught what I consider a nearly complete mosaic of grade levels! I have taught preschool, Early Admission to Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and 5th grade. If you include my student teaching experiences in 1st and 4th grade, you will see I have just about rounded out the full elementary school teaching experience!
Though each class is memorable in it's own unique way, some of my two most memorable years were spent abroad teaching 3rd grade in Honduras. Challenging, strenuous, and yet absolutely wonderful, it is there where I fully realized my heart and passion for teaching English learners.
My experiences include working in a charter school, public schools, and as ELA and math support teacher. I have also worked as a science educator in a museum, and even spent a summer writing curriculum and designing learning lab activities to pair with an IMAX film!
Through the years I have spent many many hours developing my own curriculum and activities, and I am happy to share them with you today!

Nouns: Common and Proper Noun Sort
*Please note...I did NOT capitalize the proper nouns in this sort ON PURPOSE! It is a fun way to check comprehension. (Some students know to just hunt for capital letters!)
Students can cut and sort the noun cards, or simply cross off the words as they add them to the proper column on the chart! You may need to remind some students to add in the correct capitalization of the proper nouns!

Rainbow Fish: Character Black Lines (Basic)
These hand-drawn representations of Rainbow Fish will be sure to delight teachers and students alike. I created this for a pre-k class art project, but this has potential for any grade level interested in a Rainbow Fish activity. Students painted the scales and body of Rainbow Fish then glued a final foil scale to his body. They turned out so colorful and beautiful!

This worksheet introduces students to changing nouns from singular to plural form.
When you want to make a noun plural, you usually add s.
When the noun ends in ch, sh, x, or s then you add es.
If the noun ends in y, change it to i and add es.
Students are given opportunities to practice changing nouns in isolation, within a pre-constructed sentence, as well as creating their own sentence to demonstrate their understanding.
