Additional biographical information

Bilingual Spanish SLPs navigating and creating Bilingual Spanish AAC best practice resources for family/caregivers/educators. We believe bilingual Spanish language intervention must be rooted in current Spanish lexicon research. We seek to empower and educate professionals and parents in supporting AAC users in their heritage language. We want a space where the Spanish language is included and legitimized, where clients and their families feel proud of their native language, and where their bilingualism can be used to support language development (Soto, 2018) Check out our website: bilingueAAC.com
