Great hands on writing center for teaching how to write personal narratives with rich sensory details.

This hands on block center allows for students to bring their personal narrative writing to life. The students use the blocks to recreate the setting in which their personal narrative writing took place. Students apply grade level writing skills by both labeling the setting they create. Students can use this student generated content word wall and use it as a writing resource to use to answer the exit ticket writing prompt: Describe the setting in which your personal narrative took place.

This slide show can be used as a phonics lesson warm up. It includes 10 slides with 6 sight word phrases on each slide.

These phonics cards are a great warm-up for your phonics lesson on segmenting and blending CVC words. Each word comes with a visual support.
