About the store
Welcome to my store! I'm so glad you're here. With a strong foundation in student support and a passion for meaningful learning, I began my journey in education as a Special Education Paraprofessional. That role helped me develop a deep understanding of individualized learning and inclusive classroom practices. I later transitioned into the role of an Intervention Instructional Assistant, where I worked closely with students to build foundational skills and support academic growth through targeted instruction. Today, I’m a Middle School Science Teacher. I use my background in differentiated instruction to create hands-on, engaging lessons that spark curiosity and build critical thinking skills. My goal is to make every student feel seen, supported, and empowered to succeed, and I bring that same intention to every resource I create. Thank you for visiting my store—I hope you find something here that makes your teaching life a little easier and your classroom even more engaging!

Cells Are Like Buildings | 3D & Digital Cell Model Project | Systems Thinking

Are you tired of the same old "cell-as-a-city" posters? Elevate your life science unit with the Cells Are Like Buildings: Cell Model Project! This comprehensive resource challenges students to move beyond basic memorization by designing a detailed 3D or digital model that treats cells as tiny, organized communities. Students won't just label a nucleus; they will explain how the cell functions as a "living laboratory," connecting cellular organelles to the infrastructure and "marketplace" of a th

Teaching style

I use a 5E model for many of my lessons. I also engage students by exposing them to phenomena-based problem-solving.

My own education history

I began my professional journey with the intention of becoming a nurse, originally majoring in nursing. However, my path shifted unexpectedly when I took a summer internship in education for extra income—and discovered a true passion for teaching. That experience sparked a deep interest in supporting and inspiring students, which led me to transition fully into the field of education. I started my career as a Special Education Paraprofessional, where I gained valuable experience in individualized learning and student support. From there, I became an Intervention Instructional Assistant, working closely with students to help them build foundational skills and achieve academic success. These roles laid the groundwork for my current position as a Science Teacher, where I blend hands-on learning with inclusive, engaging instruction tailored to meet the needs of all learners. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Liberty University in 2020, followed by a Master’s in Education: Curriculum and Instruction in 2023. In addition to my graduate degree, I hold two specialized graduate certificates—one in Online Education and Instructional Design, and another in Middle Grades Education. My diverse experiences and education allow me to create dynamic, student-centered learning environments both in the classroom and online.
