I began my professional journey with the intention of becoming a nurse, originally majoring in nursing. However, my path shifted unexpectedly when I took a summer internship in education for extra income—and discovered a true passion for teaching. That experience sparked a deep interest in supporting and inspiring students, which led me to transition fully into the field of education.
I started my career as a Special Education Paraprofessional, where I gained valuable experience in individualized learning and student support. From there, I became an Intervention Instructional Assistant, working closely with students to help them build foundational skills and achieve academic success. These roles laid the groundwork for my current position as a Science Teacher, where I blend hands-on learning with inclusive, engaging instruction tailored to meet the needs of all learners.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Liberty University in 2020, followed by a Master’s in Education: Curriculum and Instruction in 2023. In addition to my graduate degree, I hold two specialized graduate certificates—one in Online Education and Instructional Design, and another in Middle Grades Education. My diverse experiences and education allow me to create dynamic, student-centered learning environments both in the classroom and online.
