Using the symbols of elements from the periodic table, students fill in missing words in the story "'Twas the Night Before Christmas."

This review PowerPoint is a game that prepares students for assessment on the characteristics of living things. Basic characteristics of living things addressed in the game: *All living things have cells. *All living things have DNA. *All living things grow and develop. *All living things reproduce. *All living things use energy. *All living things sense and respond to change in the environment.
