This review PowerPoint is a game that prepares students for assessment on the characteristics of living things. Basic characteristics of living things addressed in the game: *All living things have cells. *All living things have DNA. *All living things grow and develop. *All living things reproduce. *All living things use energy. *All living things sense and respond to change in the environment.

Each Monday, I post the name of an element from the Periodic Table for my physical science students. Using this worksheet, they learn about the element.

Ideally, each student will be given a set of cards. One set of transparency "bathroom symbol" cards (printed on transparency), and one set of Picture/Descriptor cards (printed on paper or card stock). Students will slide the symbol cards over the matching picture/descriptor cards. There are several different methods for attaching transparency cards to card stock cards.
