About the store

Experience

I have been teaching English in New York for 23 years! I have taught both middle school and high school, and am currently teaching 7th grade English, along with an innovation elective for 8th graders.

Teaching style

I enjoy creating interactive activities for students to help them engaged with the curriculum. I enjoy using technology to enhance experiences, but also believe paper activities are important. I love being creative and thinking outside the box!

Awards & shining teacher moments

I have had the honor of presenting at the New York State English Council conference three times. I enjoy sharing my work with colleagues, and learning from others. I am the English department chair at my school. I have also had the opportunity to coach and mentor others throughout my teaching career.
