About the store

Teaching style

Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here! I’ve been in education for over 10 years, with the last 5 years focused on special education and teaching ELA. Throughout my time in the classroom, I’ve learned how important it is to create a space where students feel comfortable, supported, and ready to learn. One of my favorite ways to do that is by making my classroom feel welcoming and organized from the moment students walk in. That’s what inspired me to start creating engaging, easy-to-use agenda slides and bell work tools that not only look inviting but also help build consistent routines and independence in the classroom. Everything I create is something I’ve used (or would use!) in my own classroom to save time, reduce stress, and help students succeed. Thanks so much for being here and supporting my store!

My own education history

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in Sociology, as well as my Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Arizona.

Additional biographical information

My name is Meg Callen, and I’m so glad you’re here! I have worked in education for 11 years, including 5 years in special education. I’m passionate about creating engaging, meaningful resources that help students connect with literature and learning on a deeper level. My favorite thing to teach is novel studies, and I especially love designing creative projects and activities that make reading feel memorable and personal for students. My own love of reading began with an incredible 5th grade ELA teacher who helped me see just how powerful stories can be. That experience continues to inspire the resources I create today. Outside of the classroom, I have an amazing husband, Kyle. As well as two amazing kids, Ronin and Ezri. Thank you so much for supporting my small store. I truly hope this resource makes your teaching life a little easier and more enjoyable.
