Experience
10 years teaching Grades 7-9 in general math, pre-algebra, and Algebra 1. I taught in Georgia rural areas for 5 years and I have taught in East Central Florida for 5 years, where I am currently a teacher.
Teaching style
I use a very direct approach most of the time. Cloze notes, Cornell style notes, and foldables along with guided practice worksheets and Kagan guided practice structures and AVID WICOR strategies are my go-to tools in teaching math.
My own education history

Additional biographical information
I'm a wife and mom of two wonderful, energetic kiddos, ages 6 and 2. One has ADD and the other has Autism Spectrum Disorder so I am learning a lot from the parent side (and teacher side) about neurodiversity and how to help unconventional minds reach otherwise unimaginable heights.
