Grab those parents while they are at your open house! Here's a sign-up sheet for parents to sign while at your open house! Make a copy and give it to your classroom mom!
One of the most important skills to learn in math is being able to add mentally with good strategies. These cards I use once a week in my classroom to help all students with their mental math skills. Kids come up with really good strategies and my low babies seem to 'get it' better when it's a peer describing their strategy rather than me giving them one!
If you buy a Map Puzzle from me, this is a great editable tool so that you can communicate to your students (and parents) what your expectations are when you grade their poster!
