The focus of this handout is modeling real world situations with linear equations and graphs.
This handout contains information on finding the slope, independent and dependent variables, equation of a line, graphing linear equations, and finding the equation of a line given two points. It also has four examples for students to work through or for you to work through with the class.
This document asks students to solve problems using the distance formula, the formula for simple interest, and the formula for perimeter of a rectangle.
It can be used as homework, guided practice, or group work.
