A two - four lesson unit on poetry for students to analyse meaning within a poem and compose a poem of their own. I have the six page booklet focused on a poem written by a high school student and it includes 'easy', 'medium', and 'hard' comprehension questions which are aligned with the Australian Literacy Standards. 'Easy' is for student to complete independently, 'medium' is for student to complete in pairs, and 'hard' is a class discussion normally. However, depending on your group, they may
