About the store
This is my 19th year in the classroom. I have taught Language Arts, English, and Yearbook in grades 7-12. I enjoy working with teenagers and igniting their passion for reading, writing, analyzing, and creating.
I currently teach sophomore and senior English, although I have experience teaching all grades 7-12. My TPT items are lessons and forms that I use in my own classroom, and all lessons are classroom tested.
Additionally, I advise a 400+ page chronological yearbook. It's quite an undertaking. My yearbook forms and rubrics were developed over the years and are used in my classroom each day.

Camera Checkout Form
This form is useful for both the yearbook and photography classrooms. Cameras are the lifeblood of any yearbook staff. It's imperative to have our cameras functioning and ready to go in order to ensure that our staff can cover any event at any moment. Yearbook Quote Collections Form
Safeguard yourself and your yearbook staff! I have never had to defend myself or my staff against claims of falsifying a quote in a yearbook, but I am ready if it happens. FREE! Blank Vocabulary Worksheet
This form works with any unit and any vocabulary. You supply the words; your students use this form to define, identify the part of speech, and to write an original sentence using the word. This worksheet has room for 20 vocabulary words.
I have used this form in my classroom over the past 13 years, and it really does work with any unit. This form has been a true lifesaver for me when I have had to call in for a sub at the last minute! Keep copies on hand, just in case.

Student Survey
This is a great way to get to know your students! I hand this out on the first day of school, and the responses I get are vital in helping me get to know all of my students in a short amount of time. I keep them hole-punched and in my student information binder for easy reference.
