Experience

My name is Tarnah Kemp. I have worked in education for over a decade as a teacher, tutor, guidance counsellor and head of year. I have predominately taught high school mathematics.

Teaching style

My teaching style is highly interactive and game-driven focusing on rapid recall activities that strengthen core math skills and boost confidence. Additionally, I like to create wellbeing resources designed to strength student confidence, resilience and emotional awareness.

My own education history

I have a Bachelor of Learning Management (Secondary/VET), Bachelor of Science (Psychology) with Honours and a Masters of Education (Guidance and Counselling). I have conducted two research papers. The first on separated parents and the school system and the second on trauma, cognitive avoidance and social problem solving skills in adolescents.
