Addition Squares is a fun and easy way for students to practice simple addition of up to 12 with a friend. Based off of the Dots and Boxes game. All students need are two dice, a marker, and a copy of the addition squares board game. Laminate the board and students can use dry-erase markers for multiple use! Have your students using their addition skills and solve these math block puzzles. Each puzzle requires students to fill in the missing boxes with an integer between 0 and 9. The numbers in each row add up to the totals on the right. The numbers in each column add up to the totals on the bottom. The diagonal lines also add up to the numbers on the right.
