These rubrics were written to match the Florida ELA LAFS standards and rubrics that are provided by the state. Included are two student friendly writing rubrics for analytical or text based written responses. One rubric is for opinion writing and the other is for informational/explanatory writing. These rubrics have been designed to be used as scoring sheets for students as well if you choose.

I use this helpful journal page as a guide for my students when writing to text they are reading or we have read as a class. I cut the journal pages and glue them to the inside front cover of their reading journal so it's always easy to use and find. I hope you enjoy this!
