Instructions:
- Print Idiom pages.
- Give each student an idiom sheet.
- For fun: Lay them out and let students pick.

Engage your students with SCOOT. Get rid of the boring worksheets!! SCOOT gets your students out of their seats and stimulates body-brain movement. I have created an editable template in PowerPoint that allows the teacher to add any questions to the task cards. Students will be able to practice, review, and reinforce skills and concepts using "any subject" and "any topic". Students practice making arrays, groupings, word problems, and fact family triangles!!!! When they are finished, they have fun.. interactive... swirly cards to practice multiplication alone or with a partner.

Independent ... or...Group Activity. Great way to help students take ownership of their learning! They write a sentence from their understanding of the definition and they create a picture to help them remember the meaning of the word.
Directions:
Teacher fills in the Vocabulary or Key Term words and gives one sheet to each student or group. The puzzle pieces are filled in and cut out. Students can work on putting the pieces back together independently or with a group.
