This lesson is an introduction to Ancient Greece that encourages students to think critically about common beliefs and oversimplifications in history. Through discussion, primary sources, maps, and images, students will look at how Ancient Greece is represented. Students will use "Yes, AND..." and "Yes, BUT..." statements to add complexity and nuance to historical claims.
