Send home a missing homework slip with students who forget to do their homework. Students and parents are required to sign the slip acknowledging the forgotten homework as well as the expectation to return the homework to school the next day.

Encourage your students to catch each other performing acts of kindness for one another throughout the school day. These Caught You Being Kind Slips can be filled out by students when they observe kind acts and placed secretly in a special box in the classroom. The notes will be treasured when they are read and helps to encourage a classroom where kindness is important and valued!
