Geogebra Activity - Exploring Rigid Transformations
This is a great activity designed for Geometry students to explore rigid transformations and congruence in the Geogebra program. Students will construct a triangle and reflect it over a line, rotate the triangle around a point, and translate the triangle over a vector. After construction, students will be asked guided questions related to compositions of rigid transformations.

Mr. Della Bella has taught Mathematics at an accelerated private school in Kentucky for five years. He has taught a wide variety of subjects including Pre-Algebra, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus.
Teaching style
Mr. Della Bella has recently moved into a flipped classroom method of teaching. He creates daily lectures for students to watch at home, and saves the classroom time for a more hands-on approach with the students, practicing the material and doing projects and activities to enhance student learning.
