Additional biographical information

Welcome! I’m Lauren, the founder of DeafEDVentures and a Deaf educator with a passion for building inclusive, engaging, and accessible curriculum for PreK–1st grade learners. DeafEDVentures was born from my experience teaching children with diverse language and learning needs. I saw firsthand how powerful multisensory, language-first instruction could be—especially when paired with sign language, movement, and authentic connection. Now, I create resources that support ALL learners: Deaf and hard of hearing students, English language learners, students with speech/language delays, and kids who just need more hands-on engagement. Whether you’re looking for science units filled with sensory play, language-based math instruction, or professional development to support inclusive classrooms, you’ll find it here. Every resource is: • Designed with access and inclusion at the core • Aligned with developmental best practices • Built to support real classroom needs and real student voices I’m so glad you’re here—and I can’t wait to support your learners!
