I have been teaching for 10 years now. I have experience in all areas of elementary classrooms from AIS in reading for bilingual kindergarten students to ICT in fifth grade to STEAM for all kindergarten - 5th grade classrooms in a school.

Opinion Writing digital packet Google Slides
This writing packet has 17 days of objectives and walks the students through writing an opinion essay. This includes analyzing a rubric, planning, organizing, revising, and editing their draft before publishing a final copy. All edits can be made on Google Slides by going to the toolbar and selecting Slide - > Edit Master. This packet has helped our students tremendously with keeping all their information in one place and has helped us as teachers easily check our students' progress.

Convert Measurement.
This PDF can be used as a slideshow to show students the differences between the customary and metric units of length, capacity, mass, and weight. I included pictures to help students visualize the difference between each and its equivalents. I used the measurement included in Pearson Realize Grade 5 Math Topic 11.

Extended Response - How does nutrition and exercise affect our health?
Students are preparing for the state tests but should be exposed to the format beforehand. In this product, I created an extended response question as the state tests would show. The students have learned and researched their own information to answer this question but will follow the steps they would as they would during the test. This format can help expose your students to what is required of them and help them feel comfortable when they see it in the future.

You can use this to display for the students to use as a guide during the writing process to make sure they follow each step thoroughly.
You can print this product out and have students by hand check off each listed item as they go through the writing process.
I printed out a class set for my students and laminated it double sided so the students can use and reuse again and again for writing throughout the year!
