I am the Program Coordinator and Teacher of an 18 to 21 year old transition program for students with disabilities. I started the program from scratch 4 years ago and it has excelled with 100% of the students having jobs and a large majority of the student body taking college classes. I also started a work experience fully operational coffee shop work experience for the students.

This budgeting tool is a spreadsheet that has been instrumental in my students learning income versus outgoing expenses. The spreadsheet automatically adds up and subtracts income and outgoing expenses making it user-friendly. Furthermore the necessity expense columns such as rent, utilities, cell phone bill and savings are pre-set teaching the students of independent living expenditures.
