Multiplication and Division Review Game for small groups. This resource includes two-digit by one-digit multiplication and division, and multiplying with 10s.
Students will be asked to add up all of the products on your list to see if someone with $20 can afford to buy all products. If not, they get to decide what they would leave behind. This is a great resource to use for a station activity or whole group activity to practice decimal addition and apply this concept to a real-world situation.
Use this activity to encourage your students to practice their word study skills! You will need to input the words, pictures, and sentences to get them started with determining the definition on their own or with a small group.
This project asks students to add and subtract their favorite football player's stats to fins out who the best offensive player is. Then, they make a list of the top 10 and turn it in! Through this project, they are focusing on the skills of adding and subtracting decimals and showing that knowledge through a fun project. For your city's team, just remove the Seahawks stats and add yours from their website!
Students will plan and calculate the distances of their own vacation! They will practice adding decimals to find out the total distance they traveled overall.
Students will calculate measurements of yummy food using pi and then enjoy a pi day celebration snack! Keep in mind, you will need to make/buy cookies and brownies for the class :)
