Here is an easy way to help students set learning goals for the year. Created especially for ESL / ESOL students. These are very basic goals for little people who are just beginning to learn about school and why learning is so important. All the illustrations are my own artwork.

Experience

Teaching style
I use lots of pictures and text in my classroom. I believe that this environment helps my ELL / ESOL students get excited about learning new vocabulary words in addition to reading and writing. As an artist, I'm always looking for new ways to exercise creativity within the Common Core Curriculum.
My own education history
I went to high school in Pensacola, Florida (Washington High School - class of 1990). I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education from Troy University (Troy, Alabama) in 1995.
Additional biographical information
I'm new to Teachers Pay Teachers. I'm excited about sharing and collecting ideas for use in the classroom. I love to draw, so I hope that others enjoy my work as much as I enjoy making it!
