Teaching style
I facilitate more than teach. I believe that if you give the students the tools to be successful and stand back and guide them they get more out of their education. I'm not the type to act as the "sage on the stage".

Additional biographical information
I live on a farm in Southwest Alabama with my husband and a menagerie of animals. We serve as foster parents to dogs on their way to their forever home. We are in the process of signing up with the DoD (dogs on deployment) to serve as foster parents for dogs whose humans serve in the military and must be away from home and have no one to keep their pets for them.
My husband and I are bbq judges and have a great time eating good food. I am an avid reader, and a lifelong learner. I love to learn and am curious about everything.
