A Powerpoint file containing 5 common Latin American percussion rhythms divided into separate percussive parts notated using a grid formation. Images help students keep track of their parts, counts are included at the top. A simple and elegant way to have students play through Latin American rhythms as a large or small ensemble as an introduction to the style and instruments as well as different polyrhythms. Can also be used as the base for a class performance on top of the rhythms.
